Q. How do I capture clips?
Tap the record button during your run to record a short clip. Collect several clips and they are composed into a single running video with distance/pace overlays and a film look.
Q. Why does the app use location?
It uses location only while you are running, to record your distance, pace, and route. So recording is not interrupted while the screen is off or the camera is active, location updates continue in the background, with the blue location indicator shown at all times. Location is stored only on your device and is not sent to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Q. Where are my videos and records stored?
All videos and running data are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and no sign-up is required. Videos leave your device only when you share them yourself.
Q. Are my records transferred when I change devices?
Because data is stored only on your device, deleting the app or switching devices removes your saved videos and records.
Q. Are there ads or payments?
Vidrun is a free app, and no ads are shown at this time.
